Week 13 Preview: Titans @ Lions

Coming off of our first loss of the season, the Titans have to regroup quickly and face the winless and hapless Detroit Lions on Turkey Day. Hopefully the boys in Two Tone Blue will give Titan Nation another reason to be thankful by the time everyone sits down for dinner later in the day.

Series Facts

Titans lead series 6-3
Current Streak: Titans (2)
Titans on the road vs. Lions: 2-1

Last Time: Titans 24, Lions 19 (2004)
  • Funny facts about this game. This was the last game of the 2004 season. Doug Johnson finished the game for Billy Volek who left the game with a shoulder injury, who was in for Steve McNair who had sat out our last five games with a sternum injury. Antowain Smith had a game high 89 yards, one of which was a 43 yard scamper and had one TD in the game. Man we were horrible that year.
First Time: Lions 31, Oilers 7 (1971)
Jeff Fisher's Record vs. Lions: 2-1

My Prediction:

The Game: Tennessee Titans (10-1) @ Detroit Lions (0-11)

What's Good: Titans rebound from first loss of the season.

What's Bad: Calvin Johnson finds holes in a battered secondary.

What To Look For: The return of Smash and Dash

Prediction: Titans 35, Lions 13

Player of the Game: LenDale White (If they give him the rock)

Enjoy your holiday everyone!
