
Punter Craig Hentrich was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Tennessee's 21-14 win at Chicago.The 15th-year pro tied a career high with five of his eight punts downed inside the 20-yard line at windy Soldier Field. He averaged 37.8 yards and the average starting point for Chicago's offensive possessions was the 21.
"That's the kind of day we needed against their special teams unit," Titans special teams coach Alan Lowry said. "They'd been one of the best special teams units the last couple of years."
Hentrich is tied for first in the NFL with 20 punts inside the 20.
Congrats to Craig, yet another honor for one of the best punters in the game.
